R32 Refrigerant specifications and application precautions

Difference between R32 refrigerant and R410A refrigerant

Compared with R410A, R32 saturation pressure is about 3% higher, exhaust temperature is 8-15 degrees higher, power is 3-5% higher, energy efficiency is about 5% higher.

1, R32 flammable, but non-flammable gas, colorless, room temperature pressure colorless transparent liquid;

2, R32 soluble in oil, difficult to dissolve in water;

3, R32, R22, R410A, R290 toxicity belong to class A safety level;

4, R32 ignition temperature is 648℃, the upper limit of combustion 33.4%, the lower limit of combustion 12.7%;

5. The charge amount of R32 system is less than that of R10A system.

What about the flammability of R32 refrigerant?

International standards ISO817, ISO5149 have defined the R32 safety level as A2L, that is, flammability is lower than A2 class.

Precautions for R32 product application

1, if you need to extend the copper pipe, need to use thick copper pipe, thickness ≥0.8mm;

2, installation wiring and wiring pay attention to the difference between the pipe diameter and R22 refrigerant;

3, the inner machine and the connecting pipe must be vacuumed and maintained pressure to ensure that the system has no leakage, and it is not allowed to use the form of emptying instead of vacuuming;

4. For extended copper pipes, refrigerant needs to be added according to the situation:

When the connection pipe is less than or equal to 8m, it is not necessary to add additional refrigerant, if the connection pipe is more than 8m(liquid pipe shall prevail), it is necessary to add refrigerant every 1m on the basis of 5m, and it is necessary to use an electronic scale for quantitative addition, and it is not allowed to add by feeling or by current, pressure and other parameters.
