The water-cooled screw chiller is also a kind of chiller. Because its main component uses a screw compressor, the name can be called a water-cooled screw chiller. Its freezing water temperature range is 3℃~20℃, which can be widely used in plastics, electroplating, electronics, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, printing, food processing and other industrial refrigeration processes that require frozen water, or large shopping malls, hotels, Factory, hospital and other central air-conditioning projects that need to use chilled water for central cooling.
When the unit is cooling, the compressor sucks the low-temperature and low-pressure refrigerant in the evaporator into the cylinder, and after the compressor does work, the refrigerant vapor is compressed into a high-temperature and high-pressure gas, and enters the condenser through the exhaust pipe. The high-temperature and high-pressure refrigerant gas exchanges heat with the cooling water in the condenser, transfers the heat to the cooling water, and condenses the refrigerant gas into a high-pressure liquid. The high-pressure liquid from the condenser is throttled and depressurized by the thermal expansion valve and then enters the evaporator. In the evaporator, the low-pressure liquid refrigerant absorbs the heat of the chilled water and evaporates, which cools the chilled water and becomes the required low-temperature water. The vaporized refrigerant gas is sucked into the compressor again for compression, and then discharged into the condenser. This cycle is repeated and circulated continuously, so as to realize the cooling of the chilled water.
The chilled water from the unit enters the indoor fan coil unit, variable air volume air conditioner and other terminal devices, and exchanges heat with the convective air indoors. During this process, the water absorbs the heat of the indoor air (dissipates heat to the indoor air). And the temperature rises, and the temperature of the indoor air drops after passing through the indoor heat exchanger. Driven by the fan, it is sent into the room, thereby reducing the indoor air temperature, and the chilled water after the temperature rise re-enters the unit under the action of the pump, so cycle, so as to achieve the purpose of continuous refrigeration.
